Who we are
We like the stories that make people look twice.
Offbeat Bulletin is a new, independent UK publication for wonderfully unusual, verifiable stories.
Some of the best ideas sound impossible at first. Some were real, then forgotten. Others are hiding in the footnotes of science, history and technology.
We want to bring those stories to life in a clear, entertaining way — without pretending rumours are facts or replacing curiosity with clickbait.
Our editorial promise
We aim to write original explanations, distinguish fact from speculation and link to useful sources. We’re small and new, and we’ll make corrections when we get something wrong.
This is the start of a bigger creative project. For now, our focus is simple: publish things worth reading and build trust a story at a time.
